Management Team



ARTHUR S. PRZYBYL
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Przybyl is an experienced healthcare executive in a career that spans over twenty-five years and includes the management of both specialty pharmaceutical and medical device companies.  Mr. Przybyl joined ANI in March 2009 as President and CEO. Previously, Mr. Przybyl was the President and CEO of Akorn, Inc., a NASDAQ specialty pharmaceutical company that manufactures and markets ophthalmic, liquid and lyophilized injectable, and vaccine drug products. Prior to Akorn, Mr. Przybyl was the President of privately held Hearing Innovations, Inc. and the President and COO of a NASDAQ company, Bioject, Inc., both medical device companies.  During his career, Mr. Przybyl has held several sales and marketing management positions, including Sr. V.P. Sales and Marketing for International Medication Systems, Inc. and Director Corporate Marketing and National Accounts for LyphoMed, Inc., both specialty pharmaceutical companies. 

CHARLOTTE C. ARNOLD
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
An accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in finance, corporate development and operations, Ms. Arnold joined ANI in May 2009. As Vice President and CFO, Ms. Arnold leads ANI’s finance and accounting department as well as information technology. Before joining ANI, Ms. Arnold was a Founding Partner at Laurel Capital, a growth equity and microcap buyout private equity firm. Prior to Laurel, Ms. Arnold was a Partner at MVP Capital, where she was responsible for four platform investments, including the initial acquisition of ANI. Previously, Ms. Arnold was a Director with the Ben Franklin Technology Partners, a nationally-known economic development organization. Ms. Arnold holds a B.A. degree from UCLA, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and is a CPA.

JAMES G. MARKEN
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Marken provides leadership for the Production, Engineering and Logistics functions for our multi-site prescription drug, over-the-counter and potent compound facilities in Baudette, MN and Gulfport, MS. Mr. Marken brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to the company. Prior to joining ANI Pharmaceuticals in 2007 as General Manager of our Minnesota Facilities, he worked for Solvay Pharmaceuticals in various departments including Quality Control, Validation and Manufacturing. Mr. Marken holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Bemidji State University.

ROBERT J. JAMNICK
Executive Director, Global Quality
Mr. Jamnick joined ANI Pharmaceuticals in May 2007 as Director QA/QC for the Baudette facilities. Mr. Jamnick came to ANI Pharmaceuticals after a 20 year career at Solvay Pharmaceuticals; where he held various Technical and Managerial positions in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Services and Research and Development. In his current position Mr. Jamnick is responsible for the Quality Control Laboratories, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Validation, Document Control and Marketed Product Stability. Mr. Jamnick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology from Bemidji State University.

ERIC A. KALLI
Executive Director, Product Development
As Executive Director of Product Development, Mr. Kalli oversees company-wide R&D efforts as well as managing the Baudette-based Technical Services group in charge of technology transfers, scale up and manufacturing support. Mr. Kalli has over 12 years of pharmaceutical technology, analytical development and R&D experience focusing on solid oral dosage forms. Mr. Kalli started his career in the Pharmaceutical Technology division with Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Shortly thereafter, he transferred into analytical technical services before moving into the technical services management role. Mr. Kalli transitioned into ANI management upon site purchase in 2007. Mr. Kalli holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physical Organic Chemistry from Bemidji State University (undergraduate), and South Dakota University (graduate).

SHERRI A. BITTER
Manager, Human Resources
With over 14 years of progressive Human Resource experience, Ms. Bitter is responsible for Human Resource planning, development and directing of all administrative Human Resource functions, including staffing/recruiting, compensation/benefits design and administration. Ms. Bitter also leads the areas of employee relations, HR training and development, Affirmative Action, HR policies and procedures, performance management, leadership development and lastly, health and safety initiatives. Ms. Bitter supports the HR function in ANI’s Corporate Headquarters and operating groups in both Gulfport, MS and Baudette, MN. Prior to joining ANI Pharmaceuticals in May of 2007, Ms. Bitter held progressively responsible positions in the Human Resource field including Human Resource Associate at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she provided Human Resource support for Solvay’s Baudette, MN Manufacturing Facility. Ms. Bitter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Colorado Technical University.
